Here you will find a collection of resources you can easily use to share the Authentic Mayan Message with the World...

can be used as Posters or Fliers to Print & Hang Up in your neighborhoods, schools, places of worship, food & farmer's markets, etc.!

can be used in your emails, newsletters, websites & social media sites such as Facebook, Myspace & more!

If you find yourself to be Extremely Technically Challenged click here for the easiest way to share the Authentic Mayan Message with the World.

Those familiar with HTML: Simply copy and paste the code following which ever picture you wish to use (below), into the application you are using. The image will appear where you place it in your formatting and will open the Shift of the Ages website when clicked. NOTE: Applications must be using HTML formatting for these images/links to appear/work properly.

As the Shift of the Ages Project is truly a World-Wide Effort, we would love for people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE to participate in creating shareable resources so we can spread this Authentic Mayan Message of Promise, Hope and Love across this planet in every language!

With this in mind we invite you to get your creative juices flowing by creating as many images, banners, and posters for the Shift of the Ages Project as you are called to in whatever language that is your native, or chosen tongue. All resources emailed and approved will be made available for sharing via our SOTA Resources Page.

We also have a YouTube Channel called "SOTAcollaborative" where we already received our first, very lovely, audio/video piece scored by musician Ralph Zurmuhle with other musicians creating new scores daily! Feel free to make your own video(s)and slide show presentation(s) and email them to us too!

Tutorial: "How To Share SOTA Resources Both On and Off-line!"

Note: For the following tutorial, the Firefox browser was used with a MacBook computer so the browser images as well as the order of menu listings in the following images may look a little different then on your computer. Luckily, it all works the same so, if this is your frist time, be patient with yourself, take your time and most of all... have fun sharing the Shift of the Ages messages via imagery with others!

Let us begin...

Go to the Shift of the Ages Resources Page (which can always be accessed by selecting "SOTA Resources" from the "Community" link drop down menu from any page on our website):

Scroll down to the "Shift of the Ages Graphics and Banners:"

FOR THOSE FAMILIAR WITH HTML CODING:

Select (highlight) the entire text under the image you wish to use:

Copy it (Control C on a pc, Command C on a mac) to your clipboard and Paste it (control V on a pc, command V on a mac) into the HTML code of whatever program you are using.

You're done! Now share your Shift with others...

BEGINNERS: (THOSE UNFAMILIAR WITH HTML CODING):

Right Click (or hold down your control key on both mac’s and pc’s and click) on the image you wish to use. A menu will appear (as seen in the photos below).

From here you can do a few different things...

Emailing images to friends:

If you are using Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple’s mail program, etc., (as opposed to an internet email application such as yahoo or hotmail, etc.,) you can select, “Send Image” which immediately opens this program and places it into an outgoing email message.

Address and write your email, remembering to include the link: “http://www.shiftoftheages.com” so others can easily visit the Shift of the Ages website, and hit “send”.

You're done! Now share your Shift with others...

You can also select “Copy Image” to immediately copy it onto your computers invisible clip board

and then Paste it (control V on a pc, command V on a mac) into most web based email applications such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail, msn, etc.  Again, address and write your email, remembering to include the link: “http://www.shiftoftheages.com” so others can easily visit the Shift of the Ages website, and hit “send”.

You're done! Now share your Shift with others...

Some websites such as FACEBOOK and MYSPACE give you the ability to upload your images to their sites so you can share these images with your friends.

For these websites select the "Save Image As" option:

and save the image in your computer's default pictures or images folder or wherever else you wish to save it so you remember where to find it again.

Uploading photos / images to FACEBOOK:

From your FACEBOOK homepage: 

On the left side of the screen click on the link, "Photos".
 At the top of the page you will see a box with the words, " + Upload Photos", click on it. 
Facebook's album window will open, fill in a name for your image and whatever other info you would like associated with your selected image (Location, Description, etc.) or leave the rest of the information blank and click, "Select Photos".
 Once clicked, another window will open, showing you your computer's files. Wherever you saved the image on your computer is where you will now upload it from. 
After you have located your image, select the button, "Use Selected Photos".
Your image will then be attached and you will be returned to the previous screen.  On the bottom of the window select, "Create Album".
Your image will then be uploaded and placed on your Facebook wall as well as in your Facebook photo collection.  Now you can share this image with your friends as often as you wish!

Uploading photos / images to MYSPACE:

From your MYSPACE homepage: 

In the Stream box, select, "Photos"
Click the link, "Upload and share" your photos with friends.
 In the Photo Upload window select, "Browse". Wherever you saved the image on your computer is where you will now upload it from.
Select the button, "Next". 
Use the default album, "My Photos" unless you know how to and would like to create a unique album for the image(s) you are uploading. 
Your image will then be uploaded to MySpace.
Select "Next" to add a caption to your image such as, "Find out what the Ancient Maya say about the year 2012." etc. or to just add the picture without adding a caption, select the "Done Editing" button at the top of the page. When you are finished, select, "Done Editing". Now you can share this image with your friends as often as you wish!

Posting Images with Links Attached to your Blog, "WYSIWYG / DIY" Web Design and / or Word Processing Applications:

Not all blogs, WYSIWYG, "What You See Is What You Get" and DIY, "Do It Yourself" applications are the same, but hopefully this simple tutorial will give you the guidance or jump start you need to place images with links attached to them inside of whatever applications or programs not yet covered above.

When creating a blog entry on the Shift of the Ages website, you can see a row of icons just above where you type the "Body:" of your content. I zoomed in on two of these icons specificially:

The first icon is an image of a link and, not surprisingly, enables you to attach a link to whatever is selected in the body of your blog / posting. The second icon enables you to place an image wherever your pointer / cursor is located on the screen.

Much like most other applications that have a row of icons such as you see above, adding images with links is very, very easy...

All you need to do is

Place your cursor where you would like the image to appear in your content,
Click on the image icon,
Locate the image on your computer,
Chose image to place it in your application,
Then, with the image selected, click on the link icon, type in http://www.shiftoftheages.com and you're done!

EXTREMELY TECHNICALLY CHALLENGED: Simply click on any of the images below and you will be taken to our Photobucket site. You can then share the images through the options provided by Photobucket. NOTE: This option will ONLY share the image. IF you would like to have the person you are sharing the image with ALSO be able to visit the Shift of the Ages website, you MUST be sure to include the link: http://www.shiftoftheages.com somewhere in your "note" to them.

NOTE on Image Size: You can use Photobucket to change the SIZE/SCALE of any image and then download it for your use. Just click on the image you would like to use to go to that image on Photobucket.
