Steve Copeland is founder of P-Qubd LLC, a collaborative company dedicated to producing and promoting projects, products, and services that traverse culture and foster creative solutions for pressing issues in our changing world.Steve has been a producer of progressive and transformative entertainment for about 15 years, working mainly in music and film. From multi-media composition to live event production and promotion, he is a visionary working in integrity at a grassroots level to inspire and raise awareness.
Originally, the Shift of the Ages film project was an effort to bridge the gap of science and spirituality, but it evolved into much more. Most people seem aware of, and intrigued by, the acceleration of change on the planet. For some reason or another, it feels like time itself is literally speeding up. The ancient Maya left amazing knowledge that accounts for this acceleration of change and time for us. This, along with the countless other stories, prophecies and writings that have survived through antiquity for us tell of remarkable future events and potential difficulties we may face before a new understanding or age of peace is achieved. Like many others, this southern California promoter feels this acceleration of change is leading us to a predestined moment of clarity.
Through a series of events, the opportunity to meet Mayan Grand Elder Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj, 13th Generation K'iche Mayan Aj Q'ij Wisdom Keeper arose for Steve. Don Alejandro, “Wandering Wolf” provided him with incredible insight into the transitional time we are living. As Wandering Wolf felt the Mayan message of love and unity was being lost in exploitation, with Steve, he saw an opportunity for the Maya to speak to the world for themselves and asked for help in making a movie that would tell his story and spread the message of the Maya to the four corners of the Earth. Wandering Wolf’s mission to heal the wounds left from our ancestors truly resonated withSteve. He had an inner knowing that this was the missing part of the Shift of the Ages story he had been developing and agreed to help in every way possible.
In 2005, the two made a sacred agreement to document unprecedented events and make a compelling documentary about the time in which we are now living.
Steve Copeland is currently the writer, director, and producer of the Shift of the Ages docu-drama, which has evolved into a powerful account of the momentous evolutionary shift currently underway from the perspective of the living Maya. Steve’s passion for the Maya Cosmo-Vision, respect for indigenous traditions, and creative vision provides the Shift of the Ages project the inspiration to carry the story of Wandering Wolf to a global audience.
To freely circulate these messages, Steve has led the Shift of the Ages team in documentation, editing, and creation of various web portals to share dozens of short videos over the years.
