Can Success Be Graded?

Can we be graded on how successful we are?

When you are in school, what are you being graded on?

I just received a poor test score because I didn’t provide the answer the
professor wanted. This grade is supposed to mean I am not successful in
learning the required material for the class. This grade means that I
have less of a chance of getting a good job after I graduate. This
grade means I will not be as successful when I go out into the real world. This grade, this failing grade is SUPPOSED to mean that I am a failure and that I will be unsuccessful.

Why is it like this?? Why do we have such a weird system??

What if we graded success on how well you are capable of being yourself?
After all, that is what we’re here to do is it not? What are we told to
do when we're trying to impress someone? Just be yourself. Isn’t this
what we’ve been taught from the day we were born? To find out who we
are, to understand ourselves better, to be successful at obtaining
inner knowledge and applying that knowledge in our daily lives. Isn’t
this the reason why we’re here? Isn’t this what we should be graded on
if we are to be graded on anything at all? Is it possible to even
assign a grade to something?

When we assign a grade to something
we’re implying that something could have been done better. How could
anything have been done better if everything is all just an experience?
How can we have a better experience for ourselves if every experience
is a “good” one in that we will always take something away from it and
evolve into a better person? Aren’t we all here to just experience
everything the world has to offer?

I suppose following rules and
regulations is part of “everything the world has to offer.” We are
learning what freedom is by experiencing limitation. We are learning to
follow the rules so we know what it feels like to be completely free
from external opinions on how successful we are. We must first learn
how to be successful in the way they want us to be and then we can
learn how to be successful in the way WE want us to be.

To be graded on success is to create another limitation for ourselves to further our understanding of creation.

That's the best conclusion I can come up with. Anyone else want to take a shot?
