Joseph R. Giove

Executive Producer

Dynamic, passionate, and dedicated, Joseph Giove is the Executive Producer and one of the primary contributors to the Shift of the Ages film project. He is an adventurer, an engaging public speaker, a technologist, healer, modern alchemist and meditation instructor. As founder and director of CommonPassion.org, his mission is to create social and environmental harmony through the practical application of consciousness-related research.

Joseph has a multitude of impressive professional capabilities, ranging from international business, many technological disciplines including software development, aerospace and biomedicine: CEO of Distributed Computing, Inc., a pioneer in web-performance testing using the distributed computing model; founder and CEO of Biophor Corporation, a biomedical research and laser device manufacturing firm; mind-body wellness through intendbalance.com; and public speaking.

The combination of these skills led to his work with global consciousness and to his connection with Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj (Wandering Wolf) and Elizabeth Araujo. Sympathetic to the plight of the Maya and their 500 years of persecution, Joseph started to plan and lead trips to the Sacred Land of the Maya to help bring awareness to this beautiful, vibrant culture. In early 2006, Joseph traveled to India with Don Alejandro, Elizabeth Araujo, documentary filmmaker Mario Hernandez and Dr. Carl Johan Calleman, author of The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, to film and oversee a meeting between Don Alejandro and Sri Bhagavan at the Oneness University. Shortly afterwards, he was introduced to Steve Copeland, writer, director and producer of Shift of the Ages. Initially commissioned to advise the business side of the film project, Joseph quickly found that the Shift of the Ages resonated with the work he was already doing and decided to support it more fully.

He sits on advisory boards for the Global Coherence Initiative at HeartMath Institute, the Gaiafield Project’s Center for Subtle Activism at CIIS in San Francisco, and Project Peace on Earth, and he has created and orchestrated hundreds of global meditation and prayer events through Common Passion that apply the science of connection. Internationally known in the burgeoning field of collective consciousness, his vast skill-set and earnest passion drive him to see the Shift of the Ages film project through to completion.
