Family... Cosmic Kin... it is with PROFOUND pleasure that I share with you this woman's great teachings... but before I do... a little (more) background about me :) Feel free to skip to the link below too if your time is short and you want the juiciest of juiciness NOW!! lol ;-)
As an early child I recalled thinking, "Who do I want to be when I grow up?" and responding, "There's nothing left to do!? Everyone's done it already... there MUST be something far greater then how we are currently living!"
I was an early bloomer - lol... I even chose to change my religion from Roman Catholic to Buddhism at around 8 years old after learning about the 4 Noble Truths and the Eight Fold Path. These teachings, and ways of living, spoke to me clearly about HOW to be who the priests shared, Jesus was.
I didn't see the Christian's that surrounded me doing what Jesus told us to do... feed the poor, take care of the sick, embrace those who have been shunned and cast out, despise the tax collector, etc. I myself was "cast aside" by my own Roman Catholic (side of the) family... there's reasons for it all... and I'm actually very happy that it happened because most importantly, it taught me to seek... to question why this was so for sooo many of us...
Luckily with the support of my mom I forged my own "spirituality"... in my teens I began seeking out all religions to understand which path I wanted to choose since it was obvious Roman Catholic wasn't it... and there weren't many Buddhists in Brooklyn back in those childhood days so I kept looking... I read books on Paganism, Witchcraft (white/positive of course!), Native American, Jewish Mysticism (Kabbalah), and I was an AVID student of Astrology :)
To make a long story short, I came upon Mayan Wisdom and Prophecy at around age 18, when I moved to Santa Cruz, CA. I was instantly enchanted and undoubtedly captivated! It attested to my greatest dreams and my deepest of beliefs. This was the path I would follow and what leads me now to share with you, "Little Grandmother" who I humbly say, speaks the wisdom of my soul verbatim.
