A leap of faith – White Kangaroo
A leap of faith – White Kangaroo
This one is COMPLETELY inspired by White Kangaroo and I hope it's okay with her that I wrote about something she came up with. Thank you White Kangaroo!
Just remember when you feel like you cannot move forward simply trust your instincts and take a leap of faith into the unknown when there is nowhere else left to go.
We can learn a lot more than we realize from nature. We have plants which cleanse themselves through a technique we are just now beginning to understand and we are using it for self-cleaning glass (http://www.physorg.com/news10964.html).
Another example are kangaroos. So what do kangaroos do?
Kangaroos take with them their pride and joy wherever they go. They keep their loved ones by their heart as they journey through life. In order for a kangaroo to go places it must jump from one place to another. It has no other choice. It cannot walk smoothly like we do. If it wants to move forward it has to take a leap of faith. Before it jumps, before it makes this leap, it has to tense its muscles and be willing enough to propel itself upwards into the sky and feel the cool breeze rushing by and birds soaring overhead. Kangaroos cannot fly for long but during those moments when they are in between two places, two destinations, they feel alive. They feel alive because they know they have put all of their trust in the hands of the universe. They trust that they will land back on their feet. They trust this instinct because they know that if they did not then they wouldn’t be able to move forward.
The most important aspect about a kangaroo that we can learn from them is that they carry their children with them when they’re in between two destinations, two worlds. They put so much trust in the hands of the universe that they can make this leap across worlds with their loved ones in their arms (or pouches). They prepare themselves by tensing their muscles just enough to leave the old world behind if just for a moment so they can have the experience of soaring through the air without a care in the world. The Universe gently brings them down, back to the ground as they land swiftly on their feet before they prepare for another leap of faith into the unknown.
