Tata's Ambassador Address
Several months back, SOTA producers Joseph Giove and Elizabeth Araujo led a sacred journey to Guatemala where the members of the group were able to spend some time with Don Alejandro (also known as Wandering Wolf, or "Tata", meaning 'Grandfather'). One of the participants on this journey held a video camera as Tata shared his thoughts about the Shift of the Ages project, and the increasing number of Ambassadors that are sharing and supporting the cause. The video was rushed to producer/director Steve Copeland in California, where he and cinematographer Odin Wadliegh edited the roughly 45min address into a 6 minute piece to share with Ambassadors. Steve asked friend and musician Ralph Zurmuhle if he could share a musical track for the piece. Ralph kindly offered an emotional composition he created called "Our Mother," and Tata's Ambassador Address became the latest SOTA project video for circulation.
In this video, Wandering Wolf talks about the objective of the Shift of the Ages project, and some of the difficulties the film portion of the project is experiencing. He also lets us know that Shift of the Ages is a project that involves not only the Maya, but many nations working together to heal the ancestral wound and facilitate the graceful shift to the new sun. Tata partnered with the SOTA Project in 2005 as a way to share and communicate the story of our time with a wider audience. Since then, the project has produced and circulated dozens of SOTA videos around the world. Wandering Wolf's message resonates with people of all faiths, and empowers those who believe we are creating a world in which we can flourish together. The Maya have been meticulously keeping track of the time for us... even through dark ages. Defining a movement and making it into a film is a monumental task, we thank the "Voice of the Jungle and Messenger of the Maya" and our growing Ambassador Network for being with us now, and making it all possible.
