Fall/Spring Equinox

I hope everyone enjoyed the equinox yesterday.
I know I did.  It is rare that on the day of the season change, that you feel the change.
This did happen where I live, and I hope this happened for all of you as well.
Other than the temperature cooling off 10 degrees from the day before, I noticed other changes as well.
The birds were more active than normal.  They were talking during the day more than I've ever heard them.  The trees swayed more gently, and the air was crisp, even though there was rain building up.
But there was a sense of both renewal and forgetfulness.
The sense of forgetfulness was from the human population.  It appeared that the majority of humans forgot what a special time it is for the equinox and just went about the day like every other day, with no thought of the end of one time and the beginning of another.
But, the sense from nature was amazing.  I could tell nature recognized the beauty of the change with the animals, air, water, earth and so much more.  There was a playfulness about all of it.  As if a ceremony to bring in the new season.
I hope you all enjoy the new season of Spring in the south and Fall in the north.
