The best student is one who looks down on nothing and up at everything.

You cannot learn if you look down upon an opportunity. If you want to obtain new knowledge then you must look up at your surroundings and take advantage of all the opportunities you see! 

These opportunities could lead you to “bad” situations and experiences but if you do not embrace these opportunities, if you do not allow these opportunities to come into your life, if you do not LOOK UP at these opportunities then you will not take away as much as you could have otherwise. You will always learn no matter what, don’t get me wrong, but if you want to do your best and take away as much as you can from this life then you mustn’t look DOWN upon the situations which come UP in your daily lives.
