What is Ownership?
What is ownership?
Do our thoughts belong to us? Is it possible to have ownership of something? When we buy something, what are we buying?
Everything in the world belongs to the universe. It doesn’t belong to me and it doesn’t belong to you or us. It belongs to every particle in the known universe. When you buy something, what are we doing? We are trading paper, or in other words a chemical composition composed of mainly trees which vibrate at a particular frequency (since atoms and molecules are always in motion) for a different chemical composition that vibrates at a different frequency. We are essentially trading one vibration for another. Is it possible to ever own a particular vibration?
String theory tells us that everything in the universe vibrates like a string. If everything is in a constantly changing vibration, how is it possible to own a particular vibration at any given time? Everything is in motion so the object you thought you owned a second ago is a totally different object now. The atoms are in completely different locations.
Think about this way. When you purchase a bottle of water at an amusement park you have an underlying belief which says that this is my water to drink and if someone takes this water from me then I will say “may I have MY water back, please?.” Not only does that water not belong to you in that it came from the Earth but it’s also not the SAME water anymore! The H2O molecules have shifted and are now in completely different orientations. The water you THOUGHT you owned is now long gone because everything is always in motion and nothing is constant.
Is it possible to have your own thoughts? When we want to give credit to someone when citing a reference, what are we giving credit to? We’re giving credit to the person’s ideas and how well they were able to convert those ideas into words. Where did those ideas come from? Is it possible that we are simply antennas designed to receive a particular resonant frequency that matches the frequency we emit based on our beliefs to allow us to think differently? Dr. Bruce Lipton does a good job of explaining how our cells are designed to receive information prior to interpreting the information. So what are we receiving the information from?
