A Sacred Place, but not in the traditional sense of the word

i know this is not a "sacred place" in the traditional sense of the word, but it has a loving energy that makes it so.  the energy comes from the volunteers and the wolves at Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.  interested?  read on....................................

several summers ago i took my 2 boys, pointed the car west, and just
started driving.  that was a magical summer for all of us and we were
blessed to be able to see some amazing places and meet some amazing
people.  we had no plans other than, we each had one place that we

Holding On To Our Ancestral Roots

As some of you may already know, I descend from two different Southeastern  (United States) Indian tribes.  I think the Indians of the southeast are often overlooked or people think we are extinct.  If one is to believe everything I have heard about the National Museum of the American Indian, they already think all Indians are extinct.  The museum focuses on the way we were 100 or more years ago, but nothing about us today.  Well, that’s nothing new for many of the tribes of the southeast.

hit guys!!!

i just wanted to tell you that i really appreciate what you have done about the spam.  i have no idea what it was, but i'm thrilled.  i know it was probably a pain in the derrier, but it makes our new family so much better.  this is not the easiest site to navigate, especially when checking posts, so it is very nice not to have to check in and click through all the options only to find nothing but a dozen advertisements.

Avatar

i went to see the movie Avatar this weekend and agree with all the other "tree huggers" out there. . . . it was wonderful.  however, as i spoke with many other movie viewers, we all had the same question.......what happens next.  in this third dimensional existence we are currently in on this planet, i think we all know the answer to that.  not to be denied their resource to that wonderful ore, the humans went back to Earth, amassed every weapon of annihilation they could find, came back and wiped all life off the face of Pandora and then took what they wanted.

The Truth is All Around Us

I suspect that many of you already know this and I am "preaching to the choir." I recent months, things have begun happening to me that let me know that the expectations of the One are rising for us. (did that make any sense?) In addition to the "knowing" that has always seemed to be a part of my life, I have recently been the recipient of some experiences that have moved the "knowing" from my head to my heart in a profound way. I believe, that if we look closely, it will seem that the Spirit is conspiring to unite us all in Love.
