I Feel Powerless But I Control The World

When we try too hard to control the world then we find ourselves fighting a battle between two sides which makes us feel powerless in our endeavors. It's only when we give up and surrender to the outside world that we truly realize how it's possible to control the world through our beliefs. Surrendering to ourselves by saying "I no longer control the world" allows our inner self and our beliefs to take hold and then they, or our spirit can now control the world.

I feel powerless but I control the world

I feel like I can’t move. I have family (democrats) pushing me one way and friends (republicans) driving me another. I have my spirit trapped between two worlds not knowing which direction to take.

I feel powerless but I control the world.

I feel split in two, one side wants to go with the family and the other side wants to go with the friends. Their opposite polarities prevent them from agreeing on a solution.

I feel powerless but I control the world.

They will fight long and hard, weakening each other to the point of becoming non-existent in their strength. The progress one side makes the other side takes.

I feel powerless but I control the world.

It’s a never ending battle, on and on it will go until one side caves in. There is no sign of surrendering. The family wants me to act a certain way and the friends want me to be a particular person.

I feel powerless but I control the world.

Both sides determine my world. Both sides are part of the whole. Both sides want the same thing. Both sides are who I am. If surrender is activated, both sides fall to the floor, unveiling my spirit which now knows the direction to take.

I feel powerful and I no longer control the world.
