Exhaustion has now subsided

I would like to apologize for my absense on the site.  My daughter's school Gala was last Saturday night.  After months of working towards this, once it was over, I had no idea how draining it had been. I have been exhausted for almost a week.
I am only going to give you one story about the Gala because I think it is relevant to SOTA.
One of the many class projects went up for auction.  This piece went for $850.00 (very good, huh?)
The piece itself was absolutely inspiring, and if I could have gone that high, I would have purchased it.

It was a 4 1/2 foot by 3 foot frosted mirror in a simple wooden frame.
On the mirror was an etched image.  The image entailed a picture of the world with a child's hand below holding the world up. Around the edge of the world and hand was a statement that was so profound for such young students.  It stated "When the love of power becomes the power of love,, we will have changed the world"

Namaste,
Deborah
